The Behavior Technician / Program Instructor I role is designed for individuals who are starting their career in ABA, disability services, special education, human services, or direct support.

This position supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a structured, person-centered day program. Participants work on independence, communication, daily living skills, social engagement, emotional regulation, recreation, community participation, and employability readiness.

This is not a passive supervision role. Program Instructors are expected to actively engage participants, support structured activities, assist with transitions, follow individualized support plans, complete documentation, and help create meaningful program days.

This role may be a good fit for candidates interested in becoming an RBT, gaining experience in ABA or positive behavior support, or building a long-term career in disability services.

Full-time candidates must be available Monday–Friday, 8:45 AM–3:15 PM.

Part-time candidates may be considered for consistent 2–3 day weekly schedules based on program needs, such as Monday/Wednesday/Friday or Tuesday/Thursday.

Consistent attendance and reliability are required.

• Support participants during structured day program activities.
• Assist with daily routines, transitions, meals, group activities, and community-based activities.
• Help participants build independence in daily living, communication, social engagement, emotional regulation, and recreation.
• Use positive behavior support and person-centered strategies.
• Follow individualized support plans, behavior support plans, safety procedures, and daily program routines.

• Help prepare materials and maintain an organized program environment.
• Complete documentation, attendance, checklists, and progress notes as assigned.

The Behavior Technician / Program Instructor II — Program Lead Trainee role is designed for experienced support staff, RBTs, Behavior Technicians, DSPs, special education assistants, or human services professionals who are ready to take on more responsibility.

This role includes hands-on participant support, but it also includes leadership development. Program Instructor II staff help support daily program flow, group facilitation, transitions, documentation follow-through, staff communication, and participant engagement systems.

This is a strong fit for someone who enjoys direct support but wants to grow beyond entry-level work into a future Program Lead role.

This is not a passive supervision position. We are looking for someone who can lead activities, model strong support practices, stay organized, communicate clearly, and help the team keep the program day running smoothly.

PosAbilities Clinic is licensed to provide Therapeutic Consultation through the DD Waiver. We are seeking Therapeutic Consultants to support adolescents and adults with developmental disabilities through individualized consultation, caregiver and staff training, environmental supports, skill-building recommendations, and person-centered intervention planning.

No additional DD Waiver certification or separate provider credentialing is required for this role. Consultants provide services under PosAbilities Clinic’s therapeutic consultation program and are paid hourly for billable service hours.
