Welcome to PosAbilities Center!

Leesburg, VA | Daytime + Afternoon Schedule | Innovative, Blended Role

At PosAbilities, we’re reimagining ABA and adult services. We’re hiring Behavior Specialists & Pathways Instructors at multiple levels to join our team. This is not your typical ABA job — it’s a blended opportunity to:

  • Provide 1:1 ABA therapy (center, home, or community)
  • Support group-based ABA and instruction in our Pathways Day Program
  • Help teens and adults build skills in independent living, recreation, social competence, and community access
  • Grow into leadership roles in programming or therapeutic consultation

Open Levels

  • Entry-Level: Behavior Technician (BT)
For those new to ABA. We’ll provide paid training and support you in becoming RBT certified.
  • Mid-Level: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
For certified RBTs ready to take on both 1:1 therapy and day program instruction
  • Senior-Level: RBT – Apprentice Track
For experienced RBTs seeking advancement. This track provides specialized training toward two possible leadership paths:
🔹 Qualified Developmental Disability Professional (QDDP)
    🔹 BCBA/Therapeutic Consultation

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Blended ABA experience — 1:1 sessions and group instruction
  • Variety every day — Pathways activities (cooking, art, outings, life skills) + ABA therapy
  • Clear career ladder — BT → RBT → Senior RBT Apprentice → QDDP or BCBA
  • Leadership development — hands-on mentorship and advanced training
  • Person-centered culture — we emphasize quality supports, not just billable hours

What You’ll Do

  • Implement ABA therapy under BCBA supervision (DTT, NET, ADLs, social skills).
  • Support Pathways participants in structured activities and community engagement
  • Collect data and follow treatment/behavior support plans.
  • Collaborate with BCBAs, program leads, and consultation staff.
  • For Senior RBTs: participate in apprentice-level training toward either QDDP program leadership or BCBA.

Pay & Benefits

  • Entry-Level BT:  Starts at $20/hr
  • Mid-Level RBT: Starts at $23/hr
  • Senior-Level RBT: Starts at $25/hr
  • Growth into other PosAbilities programs (Pathways, Social Skills, School Break Series, Consultation support)
  • Consistent daytime schedule (Leesburg center) + afternoon ABA sessions (center, home, or community)

📍 Location: Leesburg, VA
🕒 Schedule: Day program (daytime) + 4–6pm 1:1 ABA sessions

Apply today to start your journey with a team that blends ABA, therapeutic consultation, and innovative adult programming — and offers a clear career ladder from BT → RBT → QDDP or Therapeutic Consultation leadership.

At PosAbilities, we’re reimagining how ABA and adult services can come together. We are seeking a BCBA who is ready for something different: a blended role that combines therapeutic behavior consultation with a smaller, flexible caseload of ABA clients.

This is not your typical “all billables” BCBA position. Our model emphasizes innovation, collaboration, and person-centered supports for both youth and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

  • Flexible Hybrid Schedule
Balance in-person visits with remote supervision, planning, and meetings.

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Variety every week — therapeutic consultation with adults + ABA supervision with children/youth.
  • Hybrid/remote flexibility — work from home for portions of planning, supervision, and consultation.
  • Innovative programs — be part of Pathways, School Break Series, and future growth in vocational and social skills programming.
  • Impact across ages — support both children and adults with ID/DD.

What You’ll Do

  • Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized behavior support plans.
  • Provide therapeutic consultation within our Day Program under the DD Waiver.
  • Supervise and train RBTs/BTs, supporting both 1:1 therapy and group-based programs.
  • Collaborate with families, program leads, and community partners.
  • Ensure documentation and plans meet insurance and DD Waiver standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing.
  • Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in Virginia (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Experience in both ABA therapy and therapeutic consultation preferred (training provided for the right candidate).
  • Flexible, innovative, and collaborative mindset.
  • Passionate about working with both children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Pay & Benefits

  • Competitive compensation: $65–$85 depending on experience and case load
  • Flexible schedule (remote work for planning & supervision + in-person as needed
  • Opportunities to help design new programs in therapeutic consultation, adult services, and social skills development
